Kristin Calhoun graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a PhD in Meteorology in 2010 and currently works as a Research Scientist at the National Weather Center in Norman, OK. She fell in love with indoor cycling as a graduate student at OU and became a certified “Spinning” instructor in 2012. She has multiple certifications in group fitness instruction and has taught pilates, boot camp, yoga, and step aerobics in addition to cycling classes. Kristin’s cycling classes range from High Intensity Intervals to endurance rides or Race Day profiles, focused on using the music to drive the pace of the class whether on hill, sprinting or both! She is currently finishing her 200 RYT at YogaLife Studio in Norman, OK; her yoga classes are characterized as a vinyasa flow — moving from one posture to another seamlessly, linked by breath.
